Since bringing my grandson to Children Unique Daycare; I have seen a tremendous change in him within the 1st week. I have a very energetic special needs 3 yr grandson. He had been @ Big Blue Marble-downtown location for 1 1/2 yrs and that is the WORST place to take ANY child. After bringing him here he is learning and growing right along with the other children. He is not treated and differently. They have helped us with potty training, helped with him eating more different types of food and helped with him sitting and learning with the other children. I couldn't have asked for a better group of teachers & other staff to assist with his growth & development. The owner Mrs. Davis is a true delight and I love how she interacts with the children and her staff. If your looking for a place that will love on your child while you have to work and deal with other Adulting things; this is the place to go.

Children Unique has provided us services since our son was four months old, but after the pandemic began and they closed down and re-opened, their service was sub par. The lack of professionalism is unreal. When trying to re-enroll our child into the three year old room, I was lied to by the owner stating they didn’t have space, but the reality is they didn’t want to deal with our son because he has a speech delay and can be difficult. During this conversation where I challenged their decision, the owner hung up in my face and commented that she could only imagine how I would talk to her staff if I would speak to her that way (mind you my conversation was direct and respectful). I informed her the real issue she needs to be concerned with is how her staff speaks to parents. I’m thoroughly disappointed with them and would NOT recommend them if your child has a special need such as a speech delay, they are not equipped to deal with children who don’t meet developmental milestones on target. Look elsewhere for care that will focus on the full development of your child.

My family has sent all of our children there. My oldest niece is 29 and my daughter is 5. We've become family with the staff over the years. The directors and teachers are amazing.

This place is old and dingy. (I guess the good reviews are either fake or from a while back maybe when the place use to be decent.) When I came in to look around because I’d been offered a slot an older lady with a bad wig “greeted” me with not even a smile or telling me her name. It was not that busy but it seemed as if she didn’t want to give me a tour. The staff doesn’t seem too bad but the place is in dire need of a renovation. I don’t know if that’s the standard in that area but the inside reeked of old formaldehyde and piss. Definitely would NOT send my child here!

If you have a child with special needs not the place for your kid. My 4 year old is autistic and was treated horribly. I came in and caught the teacher yelling at him in his face. I wanted to snap her freaking neck. The directer doesn't do what she says she is gonna do. The place low key pissed me off
