Central Station Event Center

Let me tell you—The Central Station in Augusta was the spot for my mom’s 75th birthday bash! We planned the event ourselves, but the team at Central Station totally had our backs. They supported our vision like pros and were down to help with anything we needed to make the magic happen. Audrey Lampkin deserves a crown. She was amazing from start to finish—even when I flipped into full-on Beast Mode 24 hours before the event (mild panic, high volume, lots of texts). She stayed calm, cool, and helpful the whole way through. We had about 100 guests, made room for a dance floor, and pulled off a red carpet moment for my mom that was straight-up priceless. She walked in like a celebrity, and yes—we cried. The video and presentation setup went off without a hitch (thank you tech gods), and the lighting totally set the mood—it felt warm, elegant, and festive all at once. Bathrooms? Clean! Bar? We didn’t serve alcohol, but it made a great little prep area for our caterer to do their thing. Big shout-out to CJ and Carl, who were super chill, helpful, and made sure everything ran smooth as butter. And the guests? They were blown away. I kept hearing, “This place is amazing—I’m definitely booking my next event here!” So, if you're in Augusta and looking for a venue that feels fancy but friendly—run, don’t walk to The Central Station. Audrey and the crew will make your event unforgettable (and keep you sane when the pressure hits!).
