Nice course for the low price. Greens were in good shape. I did hear someone bought it and hopefully will make improvements without making it too expensive to play!!

I’ve had issues with this place for almost every round I’ve played. Latest round 2 weeks ago I became very annoyed with members who play at cedar as well as staff, course condition, golf carts, and the range. A good friend of mine who’s getting in the sport decided to play 18 with me, I booked our Tee time a week and a half prior and asked if it would be ok if my wife and nanny accompany my friend and I as riders and was told yes. We arrived at the course, got our carts and headed to the range only for it to be completely booked for hook a kid on golf. Which is absolutely ok but it would’ve been very nice to know prior to starting my round that they would have the range booked out for the whole day. Fast forward to the first hole, we patiently waited for the group ahead of us to exit the green before our second shots to have 2 members behind us ask to play through. I politely told them no due to the group in front of us, they then proceeded to call the pro shop and complain that my wife and nanny where “riding not playing” this is the 8th time I’ve played at this course and have been rushed by members but when I am behind and hitting up on them I’m told to slow down my play. After the front 9 we decided to stop at the pro shop for a quick snack and some waters and then I was told I wasn’t allowed to have riders and that members where complaining that our play was “too slow”. Keep in mind my friend is newer to scored golf but he’s not brand new to the game. I personally believe that cedar creek is the worst golf course in the CSRA. The fairways are terrible, the greens look like they have a skin condition, some of the staff have no idea what’s going on and become frustrated easily. Members who play at cedar for the most part are worthless, golf carts just randomly shut off on the cart path so you have to reverse and all that jazz, the golf range is literally the only thing that gives cedar creek any monetary value and even then Carolina golf range is a heck of a ...

I left Cedar Creek Golf Club with mixed feelings. While my golfing experience was good, I couldn't help but feel that the course's potential was largely wasted. The overall condition of the course is poor. From the practice range to the 1st hole through the 18th hole, it lacked basic maintenance and care. The tee boxes were patchy and unkempt, resembling the rough. Fairways were dry in some parts, turning into dried mud or dirt. Most bunkers lacked sufficient sand and were filled with hard, compact clay. The greens were patchy and rolled inconsistent from hole to hole. Despite these shortcomings, the course possesses immense potential for greatness. The layout is fantastic, demanding thoughtful consideration on each tee and approach shot. The tree-lined fairways, though intimidating, is quite beautiful. However, it's evident that somewhere along the line, there has been a significant oversight, resulting in the neglect of this golf course. I sincerely hope that in the future, someone takes charge and revitalizes Cedar Creek Golf Club to its full potential.

The course had a few bad spots but overall in decent shape. Fair price and I look forward to playing there again should be pretty green after all this rain.

They DO NOT sell beer or food on Sundays. Course slightly too expensive for quality. Greens roll nice. Tee boxes beat up.
