Took my hubby to Calvert’s to celebrate his birthday and it was worth it. From start to finish we had a wonderful time. Our server Trisha was very friendly. She told us all the specials for the evening and gave us time to decide what we wanted. We ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp to start. I had the lobster Savannah & my husband had the NY strip. The food was hot and delicious. After dinner my husband got a free slice of cake to celebrate. We will definitely return in the future for a date night!

Not a very welcoming atmosphere. You are asked if you have a reservation (restaurant is completely empty) We were turned away at 8pm when the listed hours on Google say open til 9pm. They will not allow you to order food from the bar. I gave this place a second chance after a terrible first experience. Yet again, I was disappointed. If an establishment wants patrons to require a reservation, then say so! I rarely give one star reviews. . . Spend your hard earned money somewhere else in Surrey Center that will be happy to serve you and create a memorable experience.

We had Easter brunch there. The food was wonderful ….our waitress Abby was very sweet. I think I would’ve picked a better choice of music for Easter Sunday than whatever it was they had on the radio lol……not necessarily religious songs, but maybe not what they had. Calverts has always been one of my favorite places to eat.

It has been a few years since we had been here. Now I remember why. Prices are very high for the quality. Soup (seafood bisque) was served cold. Overall, it was a disappointing evening. Some staff were friendly, most ignored customers.

I rarely give a 4 star review. My service was great, the atmosphere was wonderful but the food was just ok. I don’t expect this when going to a high end fine dining restaurant. I ordered the filet and seafood pasta. Meat was good4/5 but the seafood pasta was anything but. Over cooked angel hair pasta with two pieces of lobster….thats it. No other seafood in the overcooked pasta. No shrimp (which was advertised) or any other seafood. Very disappointed. I would not come back at the prices I paid to have sub par food. This was a Saturday night as well, I’d think they would be on top of their game.
