Basic cake. The girl that took my order looked annoyed but she was friendly. The cake was very pretty but for $115 for a round white cake with little hearts all around it feeding 15? I feel robbed. No fondant just some piping and the writing on cake wasn’t very neat. Cake fell apart crumbled as we cut into it a bit dry. Icing broke apart. The flavor was good but I won’t be back for a birthday cake. They do have some very nice looking treats in the case. So as far as I understand, I’m allowed to give an honest review. I didn’t enjoy the cake because I felt It was overpriced and dry. So instead of allowing me to have an honest review, the owner replies with an attitude making me feel even worse about the situation and trying to blame me, instead of trying to fix the problem or take accountability. Stating that I had more than one option is so far from the truth. If I had been offered something else I would have chose something else. When I asked to see any options, she told me to refer to Facebook instead of pulling any other options herself. I was told that $80 was the cheapest cake not only over the phone, but when I was standing there in front of everyone, so maybe check your cameras. Yes, I could’ve went somewhere else if I was unhappy with the price, but this was my first time ordering a custom cake and I figured for the price it was going to be worth it. When I picked up the cake, it WAS super cute. I simply was just unhappy with what I paid and the quality after we got it home and didn’t want to complain or try to get a refund as I appreciated the bakery getting the cake within 2 days. The response from the owner let me know I can spend my money with someone who values ALL their customers. It’s easy to be a good business owner when things are going right, but when somebody is unhappy is when it counts. I was unfortunately unhappy with a cake they made. She could’ve responded with some sort of empathy for the situation. 😕

I am so happy to have found Bottom Line Bakery. I recently moved here and was in search of a bakery that could make a hyperrealistic cake. The cake looked awesome and tasted delicious. The guests absolutely loved everything about the cake. Thank you Bottom Line Bakery.

Kelsey and her team are absolutely amazing!! I’ve ordered 2 cakes with them on separate occasions and they’ve never disappointed us. They are all very welcoming, responsive, and reasonable on price! Even our 11 year old still talks about the baking class she took with BLB last year and how much fun she had with the team. Thank you for creating beautiful and delicious sweet treats for our special celebrations!!

I asked Kelsey and team Bottom Line Bakery to make a specialty cake order for an employee of mine for her 20th workversary recognition. Kelsey hadn't done a cake like I was asking for but the banana pudding cake she crafted and created was amazing. My staff member who was recognized is a real foodie and she said hands down best cake ever! A marriage between a beautiful wonderful wedding cake and the best banana pudding ! WAY TO GO BOTTOM LINE BAKERY -try their amazing baked good and creations in Evans or their newest bakery in downtown Aiken!

My wife and I can’t speak highly enough of Kelsey and Bottom Line Bakery. We worked with Kelsey for our 3 wedding cakes and a birthday cake for my wife. Our wedding guests raved about all 4 of the cake flavors we had- many guests having a piece of multiple different ones. The birthday guests all enjoyed the cake, saying it was the best red velvet cake they’ve ever had. We will continue to use Bottom Line Bakery for special events as well as stop in from time to time when we just want a treat!
