Borden Pest Control

Second year in a row with termite swarms in the exact same location. House was just inspected within past few months. Have always used Borden for almost 20 years. I am pissed.

We’ve had Borden Pest Control for over 3 years now. Best subscription service I’ve ever payed for. They do a wonderful and thorough job. Their staff on the phone are always friendly and easy to schedule with. Additionally, the staff who come to service our house are always providing recommendations for how we can best eliminated pests (I.e. suggested certain trees to be cut, and suggested our crawl space door be replaced). I so appreciate their attention to detail and friendliness!

Very professional! Very resourceful, thoughtful, and helpful! They are really taking great care of our home and our concerns!! A great company! Excellent customer service from the technicians that come to your home to anyone that answers the phone and anyone you see when you go to their office in person. Borden Pest Control has taken time to make sure that every single one of their employees highly values, cares for, and treats customers with the utmost concern and care!!!

Using Borden pest control has been a mistake I and my family will not repeat again. We set up auto pay with them, which they never took out for months, No one in their accounting department could offer any good reason why. When I called there they wanted to take it all out at one time TWO DAYS before Christmas. I asked them given the holiday and the timing if they could wait until the 29th and take it from a different account, because being the holidays, It would have been very difficult for us to move money around last minute from our different banks. The accounting department AGREED to the proposal. It wasn't any sooner than I got off the phone with them they racked up charges on the credit card I asked them not to charge, but the day after Christmas they tried to take out from the account that we agreed not to take out from until the 29th. Now maybe the owner of this company, when I got off the phone with their accounting department decided to give me as their customer a big FU and completely ignore everything that was set on the phone... If that was the case I didn't even get a phone call saying so. To make matters worse, my wife tells me and swears up and down THEY DIDN'T EVEN PERFORM THE WORK FOR THE LAST TWO SERVICES THEY ARE CHARGING ME FOR. According to her the first time they didn't even show up, and the second time she sent them away. My experience with Borden has demonstrated a level of incompetence from a pest control company that I've never seen before. I called up there. I left some messages about how angry I was, I didn't receive a call back, they just tried to charge my card again against our agreement. I call up there to cancel all services with them. They have no interest to know why I'm canceling, They don't ask any questions about it, nothing. It can only be summed up and what could be called bad management ,poor communication, and incompetence. And this incompetence will be remembered in all aspects of my personal and professional life. Unfortunately you have to give at least one star to write a review. Tech didn't show up for the first visit because they forgot to add us to the schedule, didn't show up for another visit because the tech had an emergency that morning and the office waited until after the appointment was supposed to start that afternoon to call and let me know. Please don't waste your time with this company. Do yourself a favor and go to Lowe's and buy Ortho Home Defense for $17.99. It will last you a year and works better than anything this poor excuse for a company can provide.
