Augusta Hair Braiding and Micro Locs

This was a disaster. Online all appointments were booked so I was perfectly content with scheduling for another day.. but "Latasha" called my number from the online appointment list and said she could do it. She took the time to add me in and collect a deposit. My daughter and I were excited. First she said 6am then changed it to 2 pm. Here is the why I gave 1 star. This woman called me an hour before and said she will be a little late. I was ok with that it ended up being 4hours late. Since I had taken my daughter's hair down so she could get her hair done for school we were gonna get her hair done. She said we could reschedule. No ma'am. Then after she was done it didn't look like a $500 job JS. I did give her an additional star for taking some payment off BUT only after she threatened to call the police on me. I said I would definitely go to court over this issue 4 hours late and a half done job.. 2 stars is generous in this case... I will not go back and would not recommend based on my experience

Latasha deserves 10000000000 stars for being such a gifted hairstylist. She is literally the reason why I didn’t shave my hair. I was soo nervous when we first met after being traumatized from heavy handed stylists. Thankfully she managed my hair with ease, supporting my tender scalp. Her decades of professional hairstyling experience shone through; there was no waiting forever to get in her chair, no excessive pulling on my hair, no waiting forever to have the requested style completed. Been a repeat customer ever since.

Agusta HAIR Braiding LaTosha did my hair and it is absolutely beautiful very neat and she is fast. Her shop is very clean and nice she has a very pleasing personality. Very professional and kind. I was in a very desperate situation when I found her. I told her my story and she worked me in . While I'm working her in Agusta I will continue to support her business. Thanks again Tosha for your professionalism and taking me in at short notice. May God continue to Bless you and your business.

I got waist length box braids. $300 plus tip. PROS: She was fast. I predicted about 6 hours and I got out of there in 7. The salon was very clean. She checked in on me regularly to make sure I was comfortable. The braids are tight, but not uncomfortable and she never pulled on my hair. I even started falling asleep halfway through 😅. She was extremely kind and patient with directions. CONS: She was late about 40 minutes and seemed to rush to get me out of the chair at the last hour to work on her other clients, but she didn't let her rushing effect the quality of her work, so I appreciate that. All in all, I don't get my hair professionally done often, but I'm very happy with what I got! When I want my hair done again, I'll definitely call Tasha! NOTE: She had her kids in the room with us for most of the appointment. I didn't mind this since her kids were calm and not disruptive. They listened to her well and she was calm with them so I never felt uncomfortable with them there. Plus I love kids and have my own. If kids bother you, I'd suggest asking beforehand.

I appreciate her taking me at the last minute but honestly I was not satisfied with the quality of work and should have asked her to stop. I asked for 10 straight back feed ins and this is what I received. The parts are awful and the braids are crooked this is not what I was expecting. The work does not look professional at all. Not worth $125.
