America's Home Place - Augusta, GA

I am interning here at America's Home Place for the summer. These people in the office are amazing! From day one, the team has been very welcoming, supportive, and truly invested in helping me learn the ins and outs of this field. While working here, you can see how much the team respects its customers and truly cares about them as if they were family. I am very excited to continue my journey here at America's Home Place, and I hope that it is a place that I can continue to serve at for a long time!

As someone building their first home, I spent time researching builders in the area—but America’s Home Place was the first one I visited for more information. From the moment I walked in, Nancy and Chad made me feel like family. I immediately felt at home and knew I didn’t need to look any further. Nancy, Chad, Taylor, and Audrianna have guided me through every step with patience, care, and a personal touch that have made the entire process feel manageable, stress-free (and fun!). My project manager, Louis, has been consistently patient and responsive—always taking time to answer my questions and offering creative, cost-effective solutions. He’s looked out for my best interests from day one, often solving problems I didn’t even know existed. I’ve also had the unique privilege of living right next door during construction, and every contractor and subcontractor I’ve encountered has been kind, professional, and great at what they do. The whole experience has been so personalized and high-touch that I sometimes forget the team has other customers. If you’re looking for a team that treats you like more than just a number, this is it. I’m excited to start the next chapter in my new home, made possible by the incredible AHP team.

(1 Year Warranty Punch List) We have been in our new home for a year now and just finished having some minor items taken care of. The process was easy and we could not be more pleased with the way we have been treated throughout the entire process. Bottom line is AHP stands behind their work and takes care of their customers. (Finished) We have completed the building of our new home!! We are excited to begin moving in shortly and, as we reflect on the entire building process, we are thankful that we decided to work with America's Home Place as our builder. We have a customized, well-built, unique "forever" home close to the people that matter most. There were several challenges during the prep and building process that were handled in a professional manner. Any issues were addressed quickly. Communication was clear and efficient throughout the entire process. We know the warranty department is there for us should we have any need. Stevie, Chad, Richard, Taylor and Nancy make a great team! Much thanks to all of you for taking our dream and making it a reality! (Update): We are about 80% completed with the construction of our home. It has been exciting watching our dream become a reality and raw land become our new home. This is the time where the people you are working with matter the most as challenges and surprises are most certainly part of the building process. Being able to communicate efficiently and work out issues is one of the most important aspects of any project and even more so when you are building your home. We have been very fortunate as we are working with everyone with America's Home Place, that they are as concerned and involved with the success of our home building project as we are. UPDATE! 02/27/24 We can’t say enough amazing things about our entire team at AHP Augusta!!! We are so thrilled to be in our New home but so sad to come to an end working with them! Nancy, Taylor, Chad, Logan and Richard have been nothing but thorough, kind and efficient building our dream home! From the get go they treated us and our 8 kids like family all the way to the end of our build and I know beyond that! I don’t think it’s often you can find an incredible team to build your home like we did! So if you want to find someone you KNOW will be a literal dream team with ZERO headaches throughout the whole build (not kidding, we have 8 kids and not one of our headaches came from building our home with these guys 😝), then go with Americas Home Place!! We had no hold ups with anything (it CAN happen but didn’t with us) and construction was consistent the entire build! Logan gave us updates throughout the entire process and his scheduling was impeccable and he addressed all of our concerns the same day if not, the very next day. I never thought our home building process would be as smooth as it was before calling AHP Augusta then we began the design process and I knew it was going to be so much fun! We picked literally every single thing for our house, right there in the office and we didn’t have to step foot in a Lowe’s or Home Depot which for us was a must! And look at that driveway!!! Chad is the AHP Augusta location manager and just through talking to him, you know you’ll have an incredible team behind you! Our home was built custom on our land and we couldn’t be happier! She has answered my many many (AND I MEAN MANY) questions and stuck through all of our Barndo design changes inside and out! We are very satisfied with America’s Home place of Augusta Ga. They built us our beautiful and sturdy home on the lake where we have retired and live near our grandkids. We had the pleasure of working with Chad, Beth, Taylor, Richard, and Logan. They all were very professional and courteous. I recommend all of them and AHP of Augusta Ga. to build your next home. You won’t be disappointed. We moved in the house in may of 2023. So far no problem’s with the house. We had one thing to happen that was really my fault. I called Chad to find out who could take care of it for me. With no hesitation Chad said we got you Mr. Gary and they came right out and took care of it. Thanks so much to Chad and his whole team.
