Cute museum! Our boys ( 8 and 6 ) loved it. The people working the front desk were amazing and very helpful! Even had fun scavenger hunts for the kids to do. They had different ones ranging from easy to hard.

Amber and the museum staff are doing a wonderful job of creating a great train experience at the museum/visitor center. Their volunteers have restored TWO Pullman cars and refurbished a large HO diorama with a working diesel train set. The facilities are immaculate and welcoming.

A free quaint museum all about the importance of Aiken to the larger growth of railroading in the US. The exhibits are small but informative. The staff is very nice and very well informed.

Smallest train museum we have ever been to. Have several displays and lots of history on the walls about the railroad culture in the area. No actual train to get on and explore. Just have 3 to view from the outside. Only plus is that it's free and close to downtown where there are other things to see and do.
