Aiken Electric Co-Op Inc

I received a $648 power out of nowhere, prior months and months after have been normal! I was told, "I had an issue somewhere that caused 3 times the amount of power to be used.) I have done nothing diffrent and was given 2 weeks to pay the bill in entirety! I power was off for 2 days before being able to pay the remaining amount! No compassion at all!

They hopped my privacy fence and changed the Meter without me knowing. I have pitbulls. Thank God they weren't outside. I called the company and they tell me they can do whatever they want. This is a terrible electric company. Can't do nothing about it though and they know it we all need electricity. All I ask for is notice before someone comes on my property. And all I get is a rude lady telling me they can come on the property when ever they want. So if possible use another electric company.

Aiken electric coop preaches about compassion and wanting to help people and all that bullshit and then when it comes down to showing it they don't. Instead of making a easier payment plan on a previous balance that you can handle they'd rather cut your lights off and force a 670$ payment to have them cut back on. And since they the only electric company they get to do what they want with your lights. All I asked was for a revised payment plan but instead they cut my lights off. I got 15 cats and one dog and no water to give them . Lord help us

This company has constant power outages. While my bill is constantly increasing! Almost double ! This is on sane! Don’t be late on a bill one time in 3 years! They coming to your house like you stole their car! Aiken county do better!

I've been an Aiken Electric coop customer since 2015. Very pleased with service and programs offered to members.Help my Home was a plus for us,only except is that I think Aiken coop should follower up with members after the work with help my home is finished with contractors to make sure job is done right. Aiken coop customer service is a plus!! I miss the yearly meeting on MAY; it was like a family outing.
