Was looking forward to meeting the Doctor and becoming a patient of this practice. After sitting in the exam room nearly nude for 45 minutes past my appointment time, and having arrived another 15 minutes early per their request, I dressed myself and politely let the front desk know I was leaving. Not the experience or standard operating procedure I like to see from medical practices I choose to work with. I will not return. Can’t comment on their caliber of medical treatments.

I call him Dr Rozier, although he says his name is Steven….. he is amazing! His staff also reflects on his leadership. Such an intelligent person with his medical experience. He put me on injections for severe phsorisis all over my body and my life has changed for the better! I can finally wear clothes that don’t have to cover up my skin conditions and not have to explain to people why my skin was so damaged. People will bring it up and make you feel uncomfortable. It’s hurtful and embarrassing. Dr Rozier (or Steven) as he would suggest, is the best!!! Thank you Aiken Dermatology for you care and comfort since Dr Rozier took over!!!

My husband and I both had appointments today with Dr. Mariah Barrett and was very pleased with her thoroughness and expertise. From the front office staff ( Alayna) to the technicians and the check out staff ( Lindsey and Hanna) everyone was super friendly and courteous. Wait time was not bad despite the amount of folks in the lobby. Super clean facility and super nice faculty and staff! I give them 5 *****

Gave me the worst scar from a small incision. Charged me a no show charge for an appointment I missed - admittedly my bad but I actually needed a follow up apt and they gave me one 6months out. I called to try and fix this and was told “that’s fine too” when I said they would lose a patient over this. Overall unpleasant place and service.

LONG post here but bear with me. First off: GREAT SERVICE BY THE DOCTOR AND NURSE - but the office manager was horrible. I saw Dr. Judd and he was great. When I went to check out, like every other time, I went to pay my co-pay. The lady at the desk was new so she asked for help. Office Manager then said I owed another $229 on top of my $40 Co-pay and I told her no, I will wait until I get my EOB from my insurance. She got loud with me and kept pressing it. I again said no ma'am, I wait for my EOB to see what I actually owe. She then said I know how much you will be charged by them and you signed papers saying you would pay it. I told her that I have always paid my co-pay here and and when my EOB comes in, I gladly pay whatever I owe them (This is why we have insurance people). I then turned to speak to the lady behind the desk to book my full body scan, that the doctor told me to do, and she looked at me and said "No, not until he pays his bill for today" and then she stormed away muttering to herself. So, I paid my co-pay and left. Guess what, my EOB came in and guess what I owe? ZERO dollars. There would be no way I would get that $229 back. I don't mind paying what I owe but this was wrong. Every insurance company has negotiated prices with every doctor, this is why I only pay my co-pay and wait for my EOB. Until this time I have always had incredible service from Aiken Dermatology Skin Care but the office managers attitude has turned me off to them and that is a shame.
